I want to go to college for 4 years and be close to my girlfriend that is going to Westpoint so things will work out better, I don't necessarily have a problem with going on active duty for a while, and how long do they make you go on active duty? I would like a combat job or at least something where I use weapons. I am more of a combat kinda guy, but I do want to become a firefighter after I get done with the reserves, if I decide not to re-enlist.
