Army RE-4 Discharge, Can you help?

Ok, So here is my question. I have seen A LOT of "Other Than Honorable" discharge questions. All with RE-4's, I too have an RE-4. But my main concern is; CAN I GET IN?(obviously)
I on the other hand was given a "General Under Honorable Conditions"

I have also seen that most people with the OTH discharge are being told "NO" there is no hope for reenlistment. I am curious how I fit in? I was basically discharged on grounds Im not quite sure of.. If it was failure to show up to drill, I'm not sure. Whatever my mistake was I am a grown adult fully willing and AM admitting to all mistakes that I have made in the past. I have been trying to reenlist since 2006(about 2 years after discharge). If someone can help me, or throw me some guidance that would be great. I have a family now and I feel that not only do I need to serve them, but that I need to serve my country at the same time.

*Note* As of TODAY I wrote my congressman, obviously I haven't heard anything back yet.

No branch of the military is accepting RE-3 and below applicants because they don't have - recruiting is meeting all goals without them. At this point in time there isn't much you can do - it's next to impossible to change your discharge type and RE code - you have to file an appeal and unless you have compelling evidence that it was given in error (not because you have changed) it won't be changed.
