Army National Guard question?

Some background info:
I am active duty Army serving in Iraq and my wife is National Guard. My wife will be done with the National Guard in December. We decided to have a baby while I was home on leave and my wife is going to give birth in late October. I will be home for the baby's birth.

Because my wife is giving birth two months before her National Guard active portion of the contract ends, can she fulfill her obligation early and not have to go to drill after the baby is born? Is there paperwork she will have to go in and do the months she is done, or could it possibly be done early once she has turned in TA-50 and made up the necessary days early?

Please do not answer with speculation. I need credible sources with actual experience or knowledge of similar situations.

Nobody on Yahoo is going to be able to answer that. It depends on the unit. She could drill on a different day in November, even after the baby is born. December drills are usually a Christmas party and mandatory briefings. That could be a good time to bring the baby and show it off. She could go in during the week as a makeup drill and turn in her equipment.

But EVERYTHING is dependent on the approval of her unit.
