I asked a question on how deployments work so now I'm just wondering if it is actually possible to volunteer or request to go? My bf is in the marines and he told me he volunteer to go. So i'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing in the Army.

I know I wont get to ever see action but if I can be there with them and help them out I think thats the best thing I can do.
