Army Boot camp and there bathrooms?

Im going to the army shortly and i had a question i have a bit of stage fright when it comes to using the bathroom while ppl are around do they have stalls or is it open toilets like in full metal jacket...please help!
 
In some areas they've got stalls but in most places things are totally out in the open. Communal showers and communal toilets are the way of life in boot camp. Forget all you've ever known about privacy.

If you're worried about stage fright try and go at night but don't worry you'll get used to it.
 
it completely depends on where you are. while most places have privacy, there are a few that dont.
 
Better get over it cause it's open bathrooms, you wait in line to use the bathroom lol.
Regardless of if they have stalls now or not I know their showers are still group showers so you might as well get used to being around other guys naked at least through basic.

Oh and by the way don't go in there calling it boot camp. It's Basic Training.
 
i went to ft. leonard wood and they had stalls. but like everyone said, that is the least of your worries. but bct is fun
 
I went to BCT in 1988 at Ft Benning, GA and we had stalls. My brother went to Ft Jackson, SC in 1991 and they had stalls so don't sweat it. This will be the least of your worries BTW. Amazing how quickly you get used to having 50 or 60 guys around you.
 
Ft Benning had stalls and the showers were private with a curtain. Our first couple showers were timed by a drill sergeant and you were lined up with soap and towel in hand!

I went through in 2003, also some of my buddies told me Jackson and Leonard Wood were the same. Of course there are different training companies and I cannot vouch for all of them.

My brother went through MCRD San Diego and I am pretty sure he said the toilets were in stalls too.

Probably the biggest problem is shaving in the morning, the sinks were jam packed.

EDIT: So you know the toilets at the range are open, but there are only 8 or so at the largest ranges. The big worry is not about the openness but dropping something into the "well" that isn't supposed to be stored down there. ;-)
