army bonus qualifications and other stuff?

is it true that half of the bonus you get for signing up as an active soldier in the army is taken by taxes? and do you even get a bonus if you are fresh out of high school? what qualifications do you need to receive a bonus? dont use like MOD crap hehehe give the full name of it
 
Any money you get will be taxed. I think 28% is the average they take, but not sure.

The Army's not really giving bonuses right now because they met their quota, so you wouldn't get one right now if you joined.

And bonuses are based on MOS and the Army's need. My husband got one for joining the guard and being FA, but when he went active duty and MP he didn't get any because they weren't giving a bonus for that MOS.

Honestly, it's a job, I don't know why people NEED a bonus to convince them to sign up.
