Hello everyone! On one of my previous questions I asked "25C(Radio Operator) vs 13F(Fire Support Specialist)?", and came up with that 25C's and 13F's aren't at all what I was lead to believe. That neither are really guys that carry radios around everywhere and that infantryman are usually the ones to do so. So I must ask, is there truly a comm's expert in the U.S military? A guy that can call in fire support, supply drops, reinforcements, direct in air assault and airborne units, and be a direct link for a unit in the field to the commander in the rear? This question probably seems that I want to be Rambo but it's only that if I'm carrying a radio everywhere, I want to be able to use it to it's full potential. And if 11B's(Infantryman) do carry radio's around how do they get that specialty? Do they get additional training on how to operate that equipment or are they that unlucky guy that had to carry it on that mission? Again thank you for reading.
