literally america will be the end of the world. i say we just ally with all other countries and destroy the states although if we do that chances are they will launch all nukes and destroy the planet anyway just to spite us
 
"Armageddon" is actually the village of Megido north of Jerusalem. It is the site of one of the first recorded battles in the history of mankind. Since it lies of the invasion route between Egypt and Lebanon, it's been marched through and fought over by countless armies. That's what John of Patmos was writing about in his Revelation.
2012, however, does have some validity for the death of our species. Nothing to do with the Mayan calendar. It has to do with polar shift. If the shift is gradual, no problem. If it is violent, then it is all over and Mother Earth will shake us off like fleas off a dog.
 
Nah... Just a rough stretch of Tough Times... It happens every so often... -Remember how "freaked out" everyone was, -the week after 9/11 ?! People were "CERTAIN" there was a "terrorist" behind every foreigners beard! Well, there WASN'T, & the World "moved on..." My bets are on things starting to IMPROVE- once the Election is behind Us, & the Holidays settle in... It's JUST another example of the old "saying", "When it rains, -it floods !" :)
 
No, USA is a young soul country ( adolescent) and so it has to learn by getting the lesson the hard way. These are chances to change. The USA has the intelligence, the will and the ability to turn itself around . It did so once out of the suffering of the Great Depression and is able to do so again. I hope that you are #1 not in a position of power ( like Palin et al who believe in "end times" #2 are a small, alienated minority because I like this planet and I want to live and let live on it with other life forms.
