I remember I read something like that in a book time ago. I thought it was a book by Lawrence Lessig but I checked and it seems it is not the case.
The point was about business in the markets always try to close down new inventions that open new markets.
In this case, creators of buttons were suing creators of zip fasteners, because they were claiming that this would have destroyed their business.
Anybody read anything like that?
Thanks!!!
