Hello! I'm relatively new to Argentine Tango, and am used to doing jive/ballroom/Ceroc, where the man
always leads. I've done a few dances with a girl I am taking a liking to (2 years Arg Tango experience), but:-
a) The girl is very keen to learn how to lead! This I don't mind at all!!!
b) I have been told that in AT, men often dance with men! AT is a much closer hold dance and I
feel very uneasy about it, to put it mildly, as I come from an ultra-conservative background.
First, now 'normal' is this, men dancing with men in AT; and second, how can I wriggle out of this
apparent requirement without either losing the girl and/or being excluded from the dance class(es)?
Answers/Opinions please...
