Like Boise, i mean sure they went undefeated and sure they beat Oregon but they dont schedule any ELITE teams. I just dont think they should be cryin about being left out until they start scheduling some elite teams like USC, Ohio State, Florida, Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, etc.

You cant say you deserve to be in a BCS until you PROVE that you can hang with BCS caliber teams.

Oh and BTW, dont mention the OU Boise game... that was 2 yrs ago. Each season is different.

agree?
@ Jared: Oh yeah, new mexico state, Hawaii, San Jose State, Idaho, Southern Miss...wow what an accomplishment lol
alright... lets just wait till the outcome of 'Bama v Utah...

my guess is 42-10 'Bama

They don't have a chance. remember the last time we faced the "Broncos", we whoop their @$$.

Almost as much as I am about nOU pukes forgetting that little game in Dallas in October.

45-35
Enough Said!

Hook'em!!!

Oh yeah, Boise isn't murdering everyone they play or anything.

who said they were whining?
They aren't in a BCS game so don't get your panties in a bundle.
They also have to play those "Un-Elite" teams because they are in the same conference.

You just contradicted yourself with that statement. Boise St proved they can play with the big boys. They should be in a BCS bowl this season, not Ohio State.

While I agree with the general rule of thumb that non-big six teams are weaker and face a weak schedule there are certainly examples ie. Boise St, Utah, TCU that are capable of playing with bigger programs.

It sounds really easy to say "just schedule a good team" but in reality its not. These teams don't get to pick how good thier conference is and in thier non conference people don't want to play them. Big schools dont want to travel to smaller stadiums for less money and risk a loss at the same time.

Im not sure how you can discredit Boisie St. and Utah's wins in BCS games by suggesting each season is different. The whole sport of college football is based on the past and tradition. If we evaluated every season individually you could easily make the arguement that the PAC 10, ACC, and Big East are not worthy of thier automatic bids.

You wont hear these teams complaining about being left out of the national title because they understand that. But when a 4 loss Virginia Tech gets an automatic bid, there is pretty obvious reason why they are upset.

[EDIT: Bama 42 Utah 10 - Whats your point? Every year somebody gets skunked in a BCS game why not give that shot to Utah or BSU or TCU? Its not just non-big six conferences that get stepped on. OU got spanked by West Virginia and USC has destroyed Michigan and Illinois in the past few Rose Bowls. USC won the national title by 30 points over OU a few years ago.

So far the non-big six teams have a winning record in BCS games. Boise and Utah both have more BCS wins than Oklahoma does in the past 4 years

Have you always been a pompus douche bag? You really think Boise State has not played ANY good caliber teams?

Try telling that to Oaklahoma, Oregon, Oregon State, TCU...all of which Boise has beaten in the last couple of seasons.

Besides, it's not the school who is complaining. It's the idiot half of the fans that don't understand the f***** up BCS system. Some of us just accept the bullsh*t and realize that it is what it is.

What I'm growing tired of are droolers such as yourself. And others like the guy above who said BSU turned down a Pac-10 invite. That statement is 100% fiction.

So many idiots running their mouths about things they know nothing about.
