Do they finish all the food you give them each night, or is there leftover food? Are they looking healthy?

If they look healthy and there isn't leftover food, feeding them every night is fine. I also feed my koi each night before I eat dinner. But if there is a lot of leftover food, either feed them less each night or skip a night as leftover food just dirties the tank and makes it more receptive to algae.

Well it doesnt really matter if you skip a day. Just be sure not over feed it and it will be fine:)Just dont skip 2 days! I would recemend to feed it every night but not lot of food just a littl to fill itup.

I feed my fish at 8:00 p.m. EVERYNIGHT! however I just read twice, first time ever reading this, that you are supposed to skip a night every week.
Somedays there is a flake or two left over but not usually. They usually end up eating those left over flakes some time within the next day. I also have never experienced algea although my tank has only been up and running 2 months so..
I have two glo fish in a tank and then I have two guppies in another tank and I have a male betta in another.

I know some of you are going to tell me they are community fish put them together but my guppy tank is having some problems with the PH level and it has killed two fish from that tank. The other guppies seem to be dealing with it fine but I don't want to put my glofish into a new tank especially a tank with messed up levels.
I haven't done anything with it it is going back to normal slowely. At the way it is going it should be back to normal within the next few days or so.

It doesn't really matter. Some people do, some don't. The important thing is to feed the fish in quantities so they are not stuffing themselves to the gills when they feed.

Why are you having problems with ph? I hope you haven't been messing with it.

Well it depends on the fish, you have. The one that i had, was suppose to be fed every other day. Hope this help
