* Israel used to raid daily on Gaza & the west bank, killing Palestinians.

Although green arrow could have put it better, I tend to agree with him. You have taken one side of the facts and twisted it to agree with your conclusions. You are wrong about acquiring weapons, since the British did not allow them to. They smuggled them in so they would be ready to defend themselves when partition came. They were immediately attacked by the surrounding Arab countries. Israel won. However, the Arab nations refused to accept any Palestinian refugees, which is what created the situation in the first place. And they continue to do so. During the latest conflict, Egypt once again refused to allow Palestinians to cross into Egypt for refuge. With only a few exceptions, Israel has always reacted in defense of their country. The fact that they have been subjected to almost daily suicide bombings, etc., is the reason they have made frequent attacks on other areas. The West Bank agreed to live in peace and since there have been no attacks from them, there have been no attacks on them either. Hamas in Gaza was blockaded because instead of shipping grain and other food and supplies, they used them as a mask for shipping in weapons. And they used those weapons to attack Israel on an almost daily basis. Israel had a right to defend itself. The reason civilians died was because Hamas stationed themselves in civilian areas, knowing that either Israel would not bomb them to protect the civilians or that Israel would get the rap if they did bomb them. This is how much Hamas cares about the Gazans.

And, unless you can give me proof of Israel killing 6 million Palestinians, I think Hitler still wins.
