Are You scared of Thunder storms?

i Know i am very scared of thunderstorms even when i am not outside, and i just have to cover my ears when it gets too loud. what should i do instead of covering my ears?
plus i am scred of the lightning, especially when it makes a crackling sound.
 
i do the same thing its the random thunder and lightning strikes that scares me i'm not scared of thunder showers or thunder snow its just the summer time thunderstorms i don't know when it started for me
