were before you had kids of your own? Since you've had children of your own, have you become more sensitive toward stories on the news involving violence towards babies and children?
Before I had kids, of course I saw stories that were horrendous and awful, but it never really hit home like it does now. Do you remember that story about Baby Grace? I'm not sure if that was National news, or if that was just where I live. It was a HUGE story here, though. I managed to get through it all without ever knowing what happened. I know it was awful, but I told my co-workers and my husband that I didn't want to know. You can't un-hear those things and it brings me to tears to hear it. When i'm reading a magazine, I can tell pretty quickly if the story is about a child being hurt, and I flip past the pages. My heart is with those children, but I'd rather not sit there and cry about something out of my control.
If this is just hormones, then i've been hormonal for the last 4 years.
