Back in the day chat rooms were the shit. Then, we had AIM, which was unconquerable. We were all on it constantly chatting with each other. After awhile it got boring - we used to just throw up away messages to indicate our status - no one really chatted anymore. Now, we have FB, which was a real novelty when it first came out. I used to be a part of a lot of groups and used more of the functionality than I do currently. Now, I only use it briefly for PR purposes (i.e. dinner at the fanciest restaurant in France) and to check out pics for select people.
Is it just me, or is anyone else getting bored with it?
It's hard to picture the next "it" technology, but someday another company will come along that will make FB look like the chat rooms of the 90s.
