By the way, there isn't like anybody's yards or grass I could go through. The construction goes right up to people's porches! And where it doesn't there are ditches and a creek thing lol. I don't remember exactly what the construction areas look like, usually I'm just trying not to hit the barriers when I drive through it lol.
I live in the center of a road that is undergoing construction. I prefer walking or biking to my best friends house and the park, both of which I cannot get to without going through the construction zone! So, I've just been driving the route. Am I allowed to walk or bike through the construction zone when they are working? When they are not working? When they are working, they close one of the 2 lanes and I don't know if that will help anybody in giving me a helpful answer...
Am I allowed to bike in the road (no shoulders or bike lane or sidewalks, just a cement barrier lol)? I doubt that it's illegal to bike in the road, but I'm worried drivers will get angry and run me over or cross the double yellow to pass me and get in an accident or something. I hate driving to the gas station (just beyond construction) and walking/biking from there, I think they might tow my car lol!
