are you allowed to shave your underarms in jail?

Long story short my sister has to serve 90 days and knows nothing about jail at all and is too depressed to look up anything. Are you allowed to shave your armpits in jail?
Are you sure about that, it would seem harsh to not let a female not shave under her arms. Do you have a source?
That is really messed up and unfair. So you can't shave your legs either or what?

why would anybody give an inmate a razor?
No, the answer is no.
Unless of course she is at club fed.

Females on good behavior 'Trustees" or "level 3's" are occasionally allowed to buy them if some one sends them "jail money" but none can ever be brought in and this is considered a reward for good behavior. The razor must be returned or else a search will ensue, often times full body. way to p iss off your cell mates.
