I am worried that someone might steal my clothes or my computer. am i allowed to put a bike lock on the closet door? I am going to live in a dorm of a university.

I don't see why not...there is usually no rule against locking your things up for safety. I would say go ahead. If the dorm RA tells you to get rid of it, then you will know it is not fine. Otherwise leave it on. I would.
I don't see why you couldn't. honestly I think its a really good idea! So I'd say go for it if someone says you can't have it on there just take it off.
