I have a junior in college working towards a Bachelors in Special & Elementary Education. I would like to interview some teachers for an upcoming assignment. Here is what I would like to know:
(1) Do you teach in an inclusive classroom or a self-contained classroom?
(2) In your opinion, what is necessary for a meaningful and worthwhile teaching and learning experience? Provide examples.
(3) How is a meaningful learning experience for students related to your personal teaching philosophy of education?
(4) Why did you want to become a teacher? Why do you continue to teach?
(5) What are two or three of your most rewarding teaching experiences? Most challenging?
(6) What changes would you like to make in teaching? Why?
