LittleMilkJug - I'm 100% like that. I only watch movies that match my state of mind at the moment. That's why I've stopped renting movies. If I'm not the in mood, I'll return them without watching them and that's a waste of money.
That's pretty much me. I do love movies with a cohesive story, and when I enjoy 'unusually structured' movies, it's because the characters are wonderful or funny or very interesting.
I just don't like movies like Mulholland Dr just because they're so artsy and they're supposed to be so deep. To me Mulholland Dr is not coherent enough and the characters are not that interesting that I'm dying to know who they really are, ohmigosh, I MUST know! Heh.
