Are yamaha xeno trombones a good trombone?

im looking to buy a new trombone and i am going to 9th grade and i already play on a bach strad 42bo but its my teachers and i have been interested in the yamaha xeno 8820....is it good??
 
Yes, Yamaha instruments are usually very high quality instruments. Many of the principal players in our local orchestra have switched from other brands to yamaha. When a principal player switches, typically everyone switches and it becomes the new standard. When the Principal oboist switched my teacher made me switch to yamaha.
 
the xeno is truly nice, but i still prefer the bach 42b. the bach has proved itself to be the durable standard over more than 40 years!
 
Go with the Xeno YBL-830 if you're a bass player - it literally "blows" Bach and Conn away!
