I was out digging up my red potatoes a few minutes ago, and found a worm like bug in one. It was half in half out and probably an inch and a half to two inches long. It looked like it was eating its way through the potato. It was off white and I think it had some brown on it. It was also quite thick, a little thinner than my pinkie finger. I'm a little freaked out about it and don't know too much about gardening yet, as this is my first time. Has anyone seen anything like this? Are the other potatoes okay to eat? Also, what was this bug?
