...based on religion? the west is based on Christianity...and its only in the west where atheists keep attacking their culture...other atheists in other countries don't attack their religious cultural heritage despite that is intertwined in their society...but western atheists keep attack their religious heritage with intolerance...
you have no idea...it is forced on people in Asian countries...

Western Culture includes christianity, but is not "based" on it. There are more critics in the west because -- despite the best efforts of religion -- there is more freedom in the west.

That's a nice conscious raising question.

Japanese don't seem to be bothered by these things.
I think it's because western culture is basically a confrontational culture. I think Christianity is part of the cause, though.
What I've learned is if I get angry the Christians win, if I stay peaceful and composed everybody wins.

I'll try to be Japanese and not be negative...as a Buddhist atheist.
By the way, I tried to give a thumbs up the RH the posting under mine but wasn't able to. Anyway, good answer Mr. RH.

In the west it is easier to have debates about religious belief or lack of, disagreeing about religion doesn't equate to intolerance.
