and Republicans who would? rather pad their wallets than do what is best for the US citizens that they are supposed to be representing.

How long has this gone on and how does it hurt America?
 
I don't agree there are politicians who have made millions of dollars outside the government in the private sector and could actually be making millions if they weren't a politician.

Like it or not a representative is serving his country just like our military are serving their country and i don't think just because some are corrupt all of them are.
 
a man debbie you got it down pat.

it has gone on prior to the great depression and to varying degrees for as long as i can remember and i am 61.

it has culminated to a very high degree now as people have forgotten they are needed to keep government honest.

lets hope they/we all wake up and take our place in the running of this country - fall asleep much longer and we will have zip.
