Are you out of your friggin mind? If capitalism isn't the best economic system then what system would you suggest, Einstein? Every system has pluses and minuses - we are seeing some of the dark side of capitalism: unscrupulous businesses that take advantage of loopholes and faulty regulation. However, the long term tells us that no other economic system comes close to matching capitalism for motivating people and driving economic growth.
 
No. Aspects of the financial sector have exploited the system without regard to the consequences. They and us are now paying the price.
