I'm a 23 yo male btw. Its not extreme like a light turned on in the room. What I sometimes experience I can only relate to as similar to when your walking and looking at the ground a speck of metal is on the ground that catches the sun and your eye, flashing, something small like that. (Or even a pixel on a computer screen, very small).
I never see more than maybe 1 or two at a time, and it only happens every now and then. Is this common in other people?
I also remember going to an optometrist about 2 years ago and she looked into my eye and saw not a tear, but a stretch or something in my retina? She wasn't concerned at all about it, but what did she mean by that? Something to be worried about?
The speck of light goes away instantly also, almost as soon as I notice it, its gone.
