I watched Inglorious Bastards for the first time at a friends house the other day and I felt like I gained something from the experience and I didn't feel like I was losing hours of my life I couldn't get back. Today I've been checking out new music and reading reviews for bands and watching some interestingly cinemagraphic videos. I feel alive when I do this. When I play video games all day I feel like my life is slipping away. Video games may be as artistic and popular as any other art form now so why do I feel no warmth when I play them as I do when I listen to music or watch Fringe?
