Are vegetarians morally superior to people who eat a balanced diet of both meat,...

...and veggies? And if so, why?

In my opinion it is actually worse as plants cannot defend themselves, if you really want to claim the moral high ground then kill a cow that you raised from birth with your bare hands whenever you want a burger, and apologise to the plants you remove from the womb of the earth, and cram into your gullet.

In short I see no difference between the person who eats chili dogs, and chuck steak, and the person who eats taters, and buckwheat... The only difference is the hunter, who actually respects the creatures he/she stalks.

The beasts actually get to die the most honourable of deaths: A warrior's.
