Are Total Recall and The Running Man The most under-rated Arnie films

IMO yes
TR had one of the best theme tunes to an action film ever and is one of those films I could watch over and over

The Running Man is even better and and another of those films I could watch on a loop

I own TRM on DVD but is TR out to buy in the UK I have never seen it in any shop
 
Total Recall is a fairly highly rated film in fact, as for the soundtrack, it's Jerry GolRABmith!!!

As for Running Man, it's good fun for what it is!
 
What? Not the scene with the woman and her THREE boobs? Well, that's probably a close second I'd say. But the midget machine gun bit was just superb.
 
Its a bit of a shame the Running Man didn't match King's novella a bit more (or at all). I guess the producers wanted more of a cartoony type of Arnie flick rather than a more serious one as the novella dictated.

Total Recall is fantastic. More big budget blockbusters please Mr Verhoevan before you get too old.

Richard Dawson who plays Damon Killian is the former host of Family Feud the game show we know as Family Fortunes in the UK
 
I luv all Arnie films :D I used to have them all on video ( back then it was videos..lol)..Also The Running Man song at the end, well i like it, shame i can't get hold of it :(
 
Total Recall is a great movie and one of Arnie's best. It still stanRAB the test of time. The Running Man I thought was ok my biggest problem with the film was the female lead. I found her very annoying and the film would have been better without her. I also found the ending quite disappointing in the sense that throughout the film there had not been any sexual tension between them and yet she practically falls into his arms. Nah, didn't like The Running Man very much. Am I write in thinking that Stephen King wrote the story under a pseudonym?
 
Total Recall has been shown on TV far more than The running man, both are great, The running man is daft as hell but Total recall is Arnie's third best film imho.
 
Both movies are pretty good entertainment. The movie snobs wrote them off as "mindless typical Arnie violence bum movies."

BUT its the audience that counts.
 
I second this motion. I hope he gets to make his sequel to RoboCop before he dies/retires. He seems to have some great stories to pick it up a while after his original ended but seeing as MGM is in the shitter he can't get it done, even though himself and a lot of those that worked on the original have said they'd like to do another. Hell, even Peter Weller said he'd return a few years ago but I doubt he would now.
 
Total Recall is fantastic, but Running Man's a bit naff, if still watchable.

I look forward to the remake of TR as if it's only half as good as Arnie's it'll still be worth watching.
