Are they stupid or just badly educated?

I bought some groceries for $38.00. I gave the checkout chick $50.00 Because the register was busted and she had no calculator, she couldn't figure the change!!! She was so embarrassed the poor kid. She was fumbling with paper and pencil. Is this typical of what the education system has done to these poor smoes?

Not all of them thankfully, but we give the kids in schools computers and not times tables these days, so that's the result. This one was a bit of a sad case though. I mean 38 from 50.

Yup. They learned dance and anti-bullying and macroeconomics in school instead of useful stuff like making change or balancing a checkbook.

Maybe the cashier has learning disabilities? Then you can't blame her, cos some places wanna give opportunities tp these people. But if they've been to school and everything then I'll agree that they're stupid. If not, the education system is down on the rocks.
