are they asking too much for this car?

my husband and i have been looking around trying to find a cheap just-in-case car because you never know when you might need an extra car. a local dealer has a '91 honda accord. it has 135,000 miles on it, power windows, power locks, the interior is in good condition(no stains or rips) and the exterior is in good condition(no dents or scratches). we have test driven it and it shifts gears smoothly and doesnt make any noises at all. the dealer is asking 2995 for this car. is this a reasonable amount to pay for a car that is a '91 or is he asking too much? i have had some people tell me it was a good deal considering it had low mileage to be as old as it is but then i have some people tell me that is too much to pay for it.
oh and also it is a 4-door if that makes any difference
 
considering the condition and being at a dealer, you may be able to wiggle the price down just a bit maybe to about $2450 but these r good cars and i think it is worth the price. you could find cheaper definitely if not a honda.

My friend bought two of these (same year or '92), each for about 200 - 300$ each off Craigslist. They had about the same amount of mileage as the one you mentioned and ran fine with no problems. Dealerships will always charge you several thousands more to try to make that extra commission. If you're looking for an older but reliable & cheap car, look for the Honda Accord on Craigslist.
