Are these GM Keys ones with that ignition chip in them?

Just wondering if these just can be cut to start the vehicle or does it seem these are the ones with the chip that needs programmed to your vehicle. Thanks.

yes it is the black chip in the metal part of the key.. kinda easy to spot ..
