...levels of education? Are there laws mandating that children go to school to a particular age like in the U.S.? I think it's like 16 here? Or does it depend on the South African state? I've read that large percentages in many large cities there don't have any education. I figured this could be largely due to Apatheid. Is that who is represented in these statistics?
The public schools shouldn't charge than. But $50 seems pretty low. If they were that poor, isn't there some type of welfare money they can use there?
