to recipient? Not certified mail!!? I'm looking for a notary service, that not only notarizes paperwork, but also confirms the above paperwork, was mailed to the recipient in their presence? This means they'll serve as an impartial witness.
I know the courts do something similar for lawyers when contacting plaintiffs, but is there anything like this for regular consumers, which have nothing to do with court?
I've sent notarized paperwork by certified mail with return signature in the past, but one particular business, claims the notarized paperwork was not actually in the envelope. When you think about it, certified mail is only useful, assuming the "recipent" is honest, as there is no way to prove what the contents contained. It gives a false sense of security, in a "few" situations.
