Are there many problems with the launch Wiis yet?

I haven't heard anything yet. Some people are disappointed that some of the online things aren't there yet, but I haven't heard many complaints on that either.
 
Saw on G4 tonight that somehow they shipped out demo Wii's to customers and they don't work at home. And some are straight fucked out of the box, either they don't work completely or they won't read disks. Don't know how much of a percentage though.
 
mine works perfectly and what else is coming out for online?? and why are there so many channels that have nothing there, what other ones can they make?
 
IGN said there have been minor problems with few not reading discs, and some lockup with the WiiConnect 24? But other than that, the problems have been few.
 
Just a few. Some disc drives don't work, some are bricked after a WiiConnect24 update, some ask for a non-existing start-up disc, and I'm sure a rare few were just plain dead on arrival.

Still, way better then the problems Microsoft and Sony had at launch.
 
No problems with the actual Wii, 10 -15 hours of game play so far.

I bought one extra wiimote and that was bunk, went back and exchanged it and the 2nd one worked fine.

No complaints here but also no access to internet.
