I am sick of innocent people being taken advantage of by bad cops and the cops get away scotch free everytime! this brutality has to stop, the criminals get away most of the time anyway. If someone is in a situation where they was to get arrested for absolutely nothing to get arrested for to begin with, does that person have the LEGAL right to resist arrest??? I feel that they should have the right to resist arrest if they are not in the wrong and most of the time the innocent person is the one that is shot and killed and/or tasered to death by the police. I need to know of some laws that protect people's legal rights when law enforcement abuses their authority, and if there is anything the average person can do to get the bad officers off the streets and locked up for life in prison instead of half a day off with pay. I also believe that a person should also have the legal right to refuse signing a speeding ticket IF the officer was also speeding. I have seen police cruisers go 60mph+ OVER the speed limit but yet they want to pull up behind someone else on the same highway that is going 1mph over the limit and issue them a speeding ticket, that person should have the legal right to refuse signing the ticket because the officer was also in the wrong by disobeying the posted speed limit, and i feel that officer should be immediately fired, and have the same type of punnishment as an ordinary citizen would have. Another thing that bothers me is that in some states it is illegal to talk or text while driving but yet the cops have all these laptops, rdd, radar, and other devices that cause more distractions from the road and yet they be on them while driving, why dont lawmakers make that illegal!! Another thing that pisses me off is the tint laws, why should cop cars have the darkest tint on the market and regular cars cant? if dark tint is illegal, then the cops should not be driving cars with windows tinted like that, they should have no right to pull the tint off of someone elses car just because it is too dark and at the same time the tint on the cop's car is even darker. The way i see it is that the law enforcers are mostly the law breakers! I will be investing in a video camera and the next time i see law enforcers breaking the law I will make sure the victim wins the lawsuit.
**PLEASE NOTE** I am not bashing all cops! only the bad ones, so please understand where i am coming from, I have had my share of bad experiences so now it is at the point where I now have 0 tolerance, arrest or not, I will stand up for my rights and I have my reasons, especially when I havent done anything.
