All manufacturers have plants in other countries.
The only stipulation for being an American made vehicle is that it's assembled in the US.
Ford, Chrysler and GM all have body manufacturing plants in Canada and engine plants in Mexico. Not to mention all the electrical manufacturing that is sublet to asian countries including China....go figure.
Then they ship all the parts to the US and assemble a supposedly "Domestic" vehicle.
There is only one manufacturer currently building any vehicle start to finish all on American soil. Believe it or not it's Toyota. The Tacoma line is built start to finish in Smyrna Tennissee. But the computer software is still written in Japan.
