without hub attached? I am told by a mechanic at Just Brakes that my 2007 ford F150 has the kind of rotors that has to be turned while they are still mounted on the truck and that would take a special machine and their machine was down at that time. He suggested that because the hub and rotors are made as one unit, I have them to removed and replace the rotors with the kind of rotors that would not have the hub and rotors as one unit and the next time I need rotors they could be turned on a machine as normal and save me close to $200.00 each. Does this make sense? I believed him and paid i am embarrassed to say over $900.00. after the fact the same day i went back to try to correct my mistake but he would not hear of it and told me to call the cooperate office of cause the only thing i was allowed to do was leave a message. Does this sound right? What should i do.
