There are a few around here. My wife rides my 848 and will finally be getting her 696 Monster around the holiday...it has taken forever to get one in at our shop....I am assured by her that she will be registering once she actually owns her own......She almost pulled the trigger on an 848 during the wait as she has been riding mine enough that she doesn't find it intimidating anymore.....

Welcome to the forum. *Hopefully* you will get a bit less of the typical guy driven threads here (i.e. show us a picture of your tits) as opposed to the Asian SBK forums. We do tent to be a...ahem...more mature crowd both chronologically and psychologically.....most of the time.....LOL!
 
yep .....naughty...okay ten 6.um ....
in aus we have a 12 point/over 2 years demerit system for license.....(i think, 2 years?)
lost 4 points on my sport 1000, for speeding.....and had some other thing happen....then,speed camera hiding on side of road behind a tree...another 4 points...ba-bang gone....on the paul smarty
then on whitey.....(and whilst i was waiting to appeal in court re: other traffic offense)
was caught by a patrol car doing 144kph in 100kph zone...and lost 6 points...

was lucky that day tho...the traffic cop was really kinda nice....he knocked 4kph's off the 144kph's...
the extra 4kph....meant he could disqualify me on site and take my bike away.....funny thing....he said to me...
'well, looking at your record...you've been a good girl so i'll let you off the immediate disqualification....'.

said to myself...good girl....wtf......, okay thanks for that, officer !!.....have a nice day!!
(was doing 180 and 200 along same road prior to booking date)

three months for points accumulation due to speeding...and one month for that other non mentionable bit of naughtiness.....equals..
four months off the road and it was.. very very hard....

i only have mid life crisis/second childhood to blame it on your honor......
(insert angelic and remorseful expression)o yeah...have the license back now!
 
I guess you fared well all things considered, glad you're back in the saddle. Gotta watch for those hidden remote speed cameras.
 
well yeah ten6...i have learnt my lesson...and the lesson be........
only go hard and fast......where you know youre not gonna get caught!! teehee
so,im not really that nawty....just a lil bit nawty .....a lot!

btw...sorry ducatifem...i have a tendancy to jabber on a bit.........
 
Female here with a 08 1098s. Best bike I've ever owned & definetly the sexiest. No problems with the power...just ride it with respect. It definetly turns heads at the gas station when I fill up & helmet comes off. Alot of compliments. I don't believe the 848 was available when I got mine...8/2007. No regrets what so ever!!!
