Are there any "techy" verizon phones that don't require data plan?

I've been looking everywhere and can't find a straight answer...are there any verizon phones...preferably a touch screen phone...that don't require any sort of data package at all? I will be buying on bay most likely. I don't mind going back to the chocolate/ env touch...lg dare...whatever.
