I hope you don't mind me slightly hijacking your thread THE 24 king, but I would also like to ask if anyone here knew if there are any action manga similar Gantz? Ones that have realistic dialogue and that are set in a realistic world (sci-fi and action aspects aside of course). I'm not looking for manga that are similiar in the vein that "people die and they have to fight to be brought back to life" or "people use power suits and high tech weapons to battle aliens." Just manga that have the same type of tone and realism of Gantz.
I think something like the Battle Royale manga or the Walking Dead graphic novel best fit the description of comics similiar to Gantz.
