I decided to try out match.com, okcupid, sexsearch.com and adult friend finder to see if I could get a date. Now I've been using okcupid for years now and haven't found anyone I'm attracted to who was interested in me. The pay sites, on the other hand, have a lot of girls but it's filled with scammers who will try to get your credit card number. It seems like they're all fake girls who try to get you to fill out a form on some website with a credit card before you can meet them, or they try to get you to send money to africa to fly them over or something. It's ridiculous, there's always a conditional "before i can meet, i have to know i can trust you, so put your credit card number here" type catch.
It seems as if there are no real girls on these sites, or at least any real girls that actually want to hook up. A lot of them act like they're interested, but then nothing comes of it. Some just ignore you altogether, and some just aren't that attractive (usually too fat or too old).
Now I'm probably going to be called out for posting this, called shallow, whatever. But to be honest I'm still a virgin, I date very little, I was just hoping to meet someone who has common interests. But it seems like it's really, for the most part, guys who use these sites. Is it just me or is it impossible to find a real sincere girl who actually wants to go on a real date on these websites?
In response to the first post, I've tried meeting people in real life. I did almost have a girlfriend for awhile but she moved away. The problem with meeting people in real life is that it's hard to find someone you have the same things in common with. I guess it's just as hard, or harder online, but I thought that maybe I could increase my chances.
