...so, what are your reasons?
I don't think it would be pointless - there are many good reasons that have nothing to do with Christianity and I would like to hear from some people who make this decision for their life.
 
You might say I am waiting for marriage. I want my first time to be with someone I truly love. Someone I would marry. In that way, I suppose I am being abstinent, but I would have sex with said person before marriage.

I do not wish to be used.
