Are there any straight male romance writers that write through a womans perspective, or include a main character thats a woman.

Seriously some men have phenomenal romantic ideas, but they dont want to write about them, because of course, some people in the world are rude and will label them as being gay or will be sexist and say they cant write about it.

not that there is a problem with being gay.

Come on people, its getting kinda sad.
Honestly if you go to the Harlequin website ALL their stories include:
-Cowboys (aloot!)
-Millionaires (rich) (heirs to property/businesses/money)
-babies (having them, inheriting them, finding them at the doorstep)
-Forced marriages
-any occupation involving a uniform.
*dont believe me?? see for yourself..
(eharlequin.com)

Come on!!
Its basically like they have to write stories using a mad lib:

"And so_______fell in love with_______ at the ranch, before christmas, with the _______ babies they found on the doorstep. Left to them by the sucessful millionaire_________, who was also a __________, who had forced _______ to marry him on the _______ranch. And then ________ realized it wasnt that bad being married, so they lived on with the rest of their lives"

Yes i know nicholas sparks is one, but are there anymore?

Wait you forgot the part where they fight and break up and then magically get thrown together and discover their true love and then get separated by some circumstances beyond their control and then find each other again............puke....

Anyway, I think "Love Story" was written by a man and it's just a wonderful book and a great sad love story. I could go and look up who wrote it, but I'm too lazy. And Robert James Waller wrote "Bridges of Madison County" which was a very popular book made into a movie that I did not like, but seems like everyone else did. I hated it because the woman who was in love with the "just passing thru man" decided to do the "right thing" and stay with her husband and children and that makes me mad. Don't stay with me out of pity, if you want to go...just go. How would you feel if you found out your husband/wife had only stayed with you for years out of a moral obligation and had been yearning for someone else all that time......Screw that chit....I don't want you .......Anyway....whew I feel better now...
