Are there any legit paid online tv websites?

Im tired of getting ripped off by cable for a bunch of channels with nothing on. I want to just get an online tv service (hopefully cheaper then cable) and watch movies and tv for a monthly or yearly fee i dont care. I dont want any free sites because other then hulu its all crap, plus i want to watch live things like hockey and such. Let me knwo
