I don't know how many words Im allowed to type here but, heres the situation.....like 15 years ago, my grandpa came to me and said if you come live with me and help take care of your grandma while she is sick, then you and your son will always have this house to live in, so I did! Grandma died like 8 years ago and pops moved in with his new girlfriend. About 8 months ago, pops comes to me and asked me if his girlfriends son could park his rv in my backyard since he had a restraining order filed on him and couldnt be there anymore, for a couple of months, so I said yes but only for a couple months. Now this guy is causing so many problems with me and pops all because he wants to take my house away from me......is there anything I can do?

You aren't totally clear here on a few things.

I'm taking it that pops and grandpa are the same person, alive, and still record Owner of the house. That being the case, you have no real recourse to demand the girlfriend's son move away, as the Owner has given him permission.

You need to talk it over with pops. If he still intends you to have the house, get that in writing, as in a Deed of some kind; you might become sole owner, joint owner, maybe with Survivorship, maybe pops signs it over subject to a Life Estate. Until your name is on the deed, you have no meaningful say in who parks out back.

sorry theres nothing you can do right now unless its written down somewhere that the house is yours. until he signs over the house to you or if he leaves it in a will, then it legally does not belong to you.

If your grandpa didn't write down his wishes, it's your word against pops.

Life can be very unfair especially when you act on someone's word, but don't get things in writing. You end up at the short end, which is what seems to be happening to you.

A lawyer will give you some free time, but without evidence of your grandpa's wishes (documentary evidence, like a will or trust) you have very little to rely on for a legal argument.
