really good to read? I would really like to read some good books that are maybe really sad or depressing. I'm not a freak, but for some reason I really enjoy reading those books because I get hooked on them and can't stop reading them! And no teen books that are like for 10 year olds. More like about unconditional love, sex, drugs, problems, anything like that. Something that will keep you reading, but isn't to where you can't understand it!

Thanks

Anything by Ellen Hopkins. And Francesca Lia Block. Both write rather dark novels. Block has touches of fantasy in hers while all of Hopkins' are straightforward. Another one with some magic (ok, more like a lot) is Valiant by Holly Black.

The long road home by Danielle Steel
It's about a girl who has to live through her childhood with her moms abuse and her dads ignorance.
As we read the book, we follow her through her years of abuse, abandonment, betrayal, and wrong choices made by others and herself.

I must admit I cried a lot during this book.. lol
I think you'd love it!

Or you could try The girl next door by Jack Ketchum.
I've never read the book but I saw the movie and was sad and slightly disturbed; however, I did love it and I do plan to read the book.

try Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, Where The Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls, or Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (very depressing).
