Are there any games that are similar to Dungeon Keeper II that work on Windows7?

Me and my fiancé have been trying for days to get Dungeon Keeper II working on Windows 7 without crashing and have had no luck. We have tried using VirtualBox with Windows XP, still no luck. Going to be trying Windows 98 soon and this may work (fingers crossed).

So do you have any suggestions of other LAN games we can try or any ideas on how to fix the issues with Dungeon Keeper II?
