Are there any cool T Mobile phones that don't require a data plan?

I want an affordable, decent looking phone, and I don't want a data plan. But it seems like every freaking phone on T Mobile's website is a 3G phone, and by not getting 3G, I'm running the risk of losing my ability to IM, use T Zones, and basically just have a normal phone.

I have a laptop; I don't need a tiny cramped version of Facebook on my phone. So is there any way I can just bypass having 3G? It's a waste of money for what I'm looking for.
